Charlaine created this work from a photo she took on one of the workshops that she held in Sept 2016 of the horse with a beautiful brave model, Louise and her daughter's Palomino horse, Aramis. The way the horse reared with Louise inspired her to make the horse 'fly' and the lyrics of the song 'Be' sung by Neil Diamond in the movie 'Jonathan Livingston Seagull, suited the composite perfectly...the name of the Photo ...'On a Distant Shore, by the wings of dreams...' This photo then won the 'Avant Garde' category of the Pretoria Club Oct competition...
